The doctoral students of the MGK 854 and staff from the SFB 854 „Molecular organisation of cellular communication within the immune system" are excited to meet the many science-hungry young researchers, who will spend their summer vacation at the medical faculty learning about the world of science.
We are offering a varied program including isolating the DNA of fruit, creating immune cell buttons, and understanding the world of immune cells through games.
The immune system protects our body from disease, and it consists of uncountable different types of cells. In order to optimally defend the body, they must properly communicate with one another. Here, you can learn what immune cells look like, how cells communicate with one another and much more about the immune system: How does it work? Why is it important? What is good and what is bad for our immune system? We are looking forward to your visit!
