Dr. Anke Burkhardt (Halle)
Institute for Research on Higher Education (HoF) 

Dr. Anke Burkhardt studied agricultural science at Humboldt-University in Berlin, where she obtained her PhD. Since the early 80s, she has worked in the field of university research. In 1999, she joined the Institut für Hochschulforschung (HoF) at Martin-Luther University in Halle where she was Deputy Director from 2001 to 2014. Since 2006, she has been both a member and chair-holder of the Scientific Consortium for the Elaboration of the Federal Report on Young Scientists for the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

 
Dr. Jasmin Kzilirmak
University Hildesheim

Dr. Jasmin Kızılırmak studied Psychology at the Technical University of Braunschweig (Diploma in 2009). After accomplishing her PhD-studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich and Philipps- University of Marburg (2012), she held a PostDoc position at OvGU Magdeburg and was a member of the local CRC 779. She is currently a staff member and lecturer at the Department of Psychology at the University Hildesheim.

 

Dr. Marina Mikhailova (Hamburg)

Dr. Marina Mikhaylova studied Biology (Diploma in 2004) at Bashkir State University, Ufa, Russia. She finished her PhD. research at the Leibniz-Institute for Neurobiology in 2010, where she continued her scientific work as PostDoc for another two years. In 2012, she started her second PostDoc term as an EMBO and Marie-Curie Postdoctoral fellow at the Dev. of Cell Biology, Utrecht University, Utrecht. In 2015 she became a Junior Group Leader with an Emmy-Noether grant to establish an Independent Junior Research Group at the ZMNH, University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf.

 

Stephanie Horn (Barleben)
Salutas Pharma GmbH, Sandoz

Stefanie Horn is GMP Compliance Manager at Salutas Pharma (a subsidiary of Sandoz). She studied pharmaceutics in Marburg (2005 -2011). After working as pharmacist in the field of pharmaceutical quality management for L.C.PLIWA and Solupharm, she finally joined Salutas Pharma in 2014 as a trainee. Among other activities she provides professional advice regarding GxP Compliance issues and ensures that an uniform comprehension is defined between production, regulatory and quality.

 

Dr. Barbara Pauly (Heidelberg)
EMBO reports

Barbara completed her PhD in Cell Biology at the University of Munich (Germany) and then worked at the Berkeley University of California (USA) as a post-doctoral researcher before joining EMBO reports in 2008 as a scientific editor. In 2014, she was promoted to Senior Editor at the same journal. She handles primary manuscripts and reviews in the areas of stem cells, cell adhesion, cell polarity & cytoskeleton, cell death, genomics, membrane & intracellular transport, molecular evolution, systems and computational biology, and signal transduction

 

Denise Hottmann (Ingelheim am Rhein)
Boehringer Ingelheim

Denise Hottmann lived, worked and studied in Germany, Ireland, Australia, and Spain before she finished her studies in International Management with a Diploma and an ISB Certificate in Systemic Consulting and Supervision in Organisations. She currently works as the Head of the CoE (Center of Expertise) and has more than 10 years of experience in Leadership Development, Talent Management, Intercultural Qualification, and Diversity & Inclusion.

 

Prof. Dr. Magdalena Sauvage (Magdeburg)
Leibniz Insitute for Neurobiology (LIN)

Prof. Dr. Magdalena Sauvage studied in Lille and Bordeaux (1992-1997), and received her PhD in Neurosciences at the MPI for Psychiatry in Munich (2002, Marie Curie’s Research grant). After a PostDoc term at the MIT Boston (2002 – 2005) and positions as a Senior Research Scientist (2005-2008) and a Res. Assist. Professor at Boston University (2008-2010), she started heading the Mercator Research Group at Ruhr Univ. Bochum as a W2 professor in 2010. Currently, she heads the Functional Neuroplasticity department at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology as a W3 professor.

 

Prof Dr. Daniela C. Dieterich (Magdeburg)
Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg

Prof. Dr. Daniela C. Dieterich is a Research Group Leader at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology and Director of the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. She studied Biochemistry in Hannover (Diploma in 1999) before she received her PhD (2003) and subsequently her first PostDoc term (2003) at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology, Magdeburg. After a second PostDoc term (2003-2008) at the California Institute for Technology, Pasadena (funded by the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina), she returned to Magdeburg in 2008 as the head of the DFG Emmy Noether Group ‘Neuralomics’ at the LIN. She became a W3 professor in 2012.
